1. About Services Provided
Help2Collect offers users the ability to book a free collection of unwanted clothing and other household items online. These items are collected by authorized drivers ("Drivers") from your location, based on your scheduled booking. Additionally, help2collect.co.uk will raise funds for its partner charities ("Partner Charities") based on the total weight of items collected. 2. Eligibility to Use Our Services
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
- Reside within our active collection zones in the United Kingdom.
- Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
By booking a collection, you confirm and represent that:
- You have the legal ownership or lawful authority to donate the items.
- The items are clean, safe, and appropriate for collection.
- No items are stolen, illegal, hazardous, or contain personal or sensitive data.
3. Collection Booking Terms
Booking Process:
- Collections must be booked via our official website: https://www.help2collect.co.uk/book-us.
- You are responsible for providing accurate and complete contact details, collection address, and preferred collection date/time.
- Booking confirmations and updates will be sent to the email or phone number provided.
Preparing for Collection:
By booking, you agree to:
- Place all items in secure, tied bags or sealed boxes.
- Ensure items are placed in the agreed location (e.g., doorstep, porch) or ensure someone is present during the agreed collection window.
- Ensure clear and unobstructed access to the items on the collection day.
- Notify us at least 24 hours in advance of any changes or cancellations.
Collection Discretion:
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse or cancel a booking at our sole discretion.
- Decline to collect items that are wet, soiled, hazardous, or unsuitable (e.g., furniture, white goods).
- Cancel or reschedule collections due to weather conditions, staffing shortages, or vehicle issues.
4. Items We Accept
Please refer to our What We Collect page for a detailed list of acceptable and non-acceptable items.
- We generally accept: clothes (men's, women's, children's), shoes (in pairs), accessories (bags, belts, etc.), all type of toys, small bric-a-brac items (kitchenware, books, DVDs, etc.) and etc.
- We do not accept: soiled, wet, or damaged items; furniture or large electrical appliances; hazardous materials; food, medicine, or perishable goods.
Help2Collect reserves the right to refuse collection of any item that does not meet our criteria.
5. Donation and Ownership Disclaimer
By donating your items to Help2Collect:
- You relinquish ownership of the donated items.
- You agree that the items may be sold, reused, or recycled in a manner that raises funds for Partner Charities.
- You acknowledge that Help2Collect and its Partner Charities are not obliged to provide receipts or confirm final use of each item.
6. Limitation to Liability and Disclaimers
(To the Maximum Extent Permitted by Law):
- No Responsibility for Loss or Damage: Help2Collect is not liable for any loss or damage to items before or after collection, including items left unattended.
- Damage to Property: We are not responsible for any damage caused to property during collection unless due to our gross negligence.
- Service Disclaimer: Our Website and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Help2Collect makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding the reliability, timeliness, or availability of our services.
- Free Best-Effort Service: Help2Collect is a free service offered on a best-effort basis. While we strive to provide a reliable and helpful service, we cannot guarantee specific collection times or outcomes.
- Delays and Cancellations: We are not responsible for delays, rescheduling, or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, or operational issues.
- Insurance and Liability Coverage: Our public liability insurance is strictly limited to direct damage caused solely by the negligence of our staff during the collection process.
- Personal Responsibility of Donors: Donors are strongly advised not to donate items of high monetary or sentimental value. Please ensure all personal belongings are removed from pockets, bags, and boxes prior to donation.
- Exclusion of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Help2Collect disclaims any and all liability for incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our Drivers.
7. Driver Conduct and Safety
All collections are carried out by authorized Drivers. While we strive for professionalism, please contact us immediately at 02039039349 if you experience any misconduct or issues.
For your safety and the safety of our Drivers:
- No money should ever be exchanged.
- Drivers are not permitted to enter your home.
- Items must be left in a pre-agreed collection location.
8. Website Use and Content
By using our Website, you agree not to:
- Use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Copy, scrape, or misuse content or data.
All content on the Website, including images, text, branding, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reuse or redistribute content without our written permission.

We respect your privacy. Your personal data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy. We gather and utilize your contact information exclusively for the purpose of organizing collections and addressing inquiries.
